(Photo by Mike Ehrmann/Getty Images)The SEC had a huge 2017 season. The conference sent Alabama and Georgia to the College Football Playoff national championship game, with the Tide winning it all.The league is expected to have another banner year this fall. Alabama and Georgia should be title contenders again, and Auburn is also ranked in the preseason top 10.ESPN’s Mark Schlabach unveiled his predictions for all of the Power 5 leagues. Schlabach picked the conference champs, award winners and much more.He also made three bold predictions for each league this fall. For the SEC, they are:Alabama wins another SEC titleTexas A&M will pay Jimbo Fisher more than $1 million per victory Georgia will have two 1,000-yard rushersOkay, is that first prediction really a bold one? Alabama winning another SEC title is as chalky as a pick can be.The Jimbo one is the most interesting. He is making over $7 million this season.Schlabach picked the Aggies to go 7-5.While Texas A&M’s president and its fan base might already be dreaming about SEC titles and national championships under Fisher, who was lured away from Florida State with a 10-year, $75 million contract, the Aggies first have to finish higher than fourth in the SEC West, which they’ve done only once since joining the league in 2012. The Aggies won’t do it this season, as they’ll lose to Clemson at home in Week 2 and drop each of their four SEC road games. You can read all of ESPN’s preview here.
