The 17-year-old from Berkhamsted Golf Club, Hertfordshire, was in the hunt throughout and finished on one-under par, three behind champion Linn Grant of Sweden. They filled six places in the top ten with Olivia Winning (Rotherham, Yorkshire) finishing 4th; Gemma Clews (Delamere Forest, Cheshire) 5th; Bel Wardle (Prestbury, Cheshire) 7th; defending champion Sophie Lamb (Clitheroe, Lancashire) 8th; and Cara Gainer (Castle Royle, Berkshire) 9th. Screen, who was in England’s winning team at the Girls’ Home Internationals, led a great show by English players.
